Crikey! I think that must be the longest period of eerie silence at Hooting Yard since records began fourteen years ago. Much has happened in the interim. Well … not that much. There has been ongoing eye trouble (not yet resolved), regular shows on Resonance – available on Mixcloud – where I have been looking at past investigations of plums and swans and Captain Nitty, and a brief trip to Scotland. Oh, and I was asked to name a trawler.
To ease you back in to what they call the Hooting Yard Experience, I bring you the work of Charles Anthony. I have no idea who Mr Anthony is, but he is clearly a very sensible man. Please take a minute to marvel at this and this.
Watch out, voles.
Good to Mr Key back in typing land.
Welcome back, Frank me old china.
As for those stirring Charles Anthony clips, I can only say “Chants would be a fine thing…”
Welcome back, Mr Key!
Welcome back Mr. Key, that was a rather long silence. I was worried in case the “live action” Beauty and the Beast had caused damage to your cranial integuments. I suspect the cartoon version was likely more animated video every way than the “real” Mz.Emma Watson.
I am celebrating by stocking up on hefty Hooting Yard paperbacks from lulu.com
Gauche as it may be for me to ask, but what i really want is an (unabridged) copy of “Obsequies for Lars Talc, Struck by Lightning” as it is my favourite story. What do i have to do to get my hands on a printed copy?
Shadowy : I have no idea. You could always try eBay. Or post a plea on some sort of internet database of pleas.
