Are you terrified of cows? Perhaps you ought to be, given the recent spate of cow attacks. The blogger Mark Wadsworth is keeping track of things, which is certainly an invaluable service, but one wonders what it all means.

I’ll tell you what it means – cows are becoming ’self-aware’ like Skynet in the Terminator films and are planning to take over the world. Luckily, they don’t know the codes to press the nuclear button (and their hooves are probably too clumsy to type it in anyway).
I am not at all unterrified of cows, having once been chased by a herd of them across a freezing muddy river for no apparent reason. All of the bears I was strolling with climbed trees to escape, but I didn’t because I wasn’t a bear then.
