“We studied the whole theory of flight in very great detail, spending, I remember, more than a month in an examination of the wing of an albatross”
Rex Warner, The Aerodrome (1941)
A wonderful and sadly neglected novel – I have two of his others, but each time I start on either, I revert to ‘The Aerodrome’.
R : I am about four-fifths of the way through reading it, and agree, it’s superb.
