Dear Sir.
I just wish to say that the MP3 links on your podcast feed, http://feeds.feedburner.com/hootingyard , are failing to download.
This has been the case for the past two days or so.
I hope this is merely a temporary hiccup.
–Reggie t D.
I have drawn this to the attention of the podcast maestro at ResonanceFM.
You may want to give maestro another nudge… still no downloads.
Hmm. According to the maestro, it should be working perfectly.
I assure you, it’s not just me…
Try for yourself…
1. Go to http://feeds.feedburner.com/hootingyard
2. Click on the latest MP3 link.
3. In fact, all the past episodes (which I have previously listened to) have the same problem.
The problem shows up on my Android phone’s podcatcher app, and on my laptop.
Reggie.
Fear not, the maestro has been alerted (or re-alerted).
Which podcasting app do you use? It worked fine for me using pocket casts and via a browswr.
Success!
@Trbott Wellington, it works fine for me now, too, but there was a definite problem until it was fixed yesterday (1 May).
Did you change anything?
Nope. No changes.
The Android app (DoggCatcher) gets podcast episodes a few times each day and, after days of failing, it just worked.
Likewise, my web browser (Firefox 37.0.2) was able to play the MP3 via the link on the RSS feed web page, where before it could not connect.
I suggest you switch to Pocket Casts – it is more reliable.
Thanks, but DoggCatcher is very reliable. I’ve been using it for years.
